Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented intern to join our Sales & Distribution team. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in asset management, relationship management, and investment product analysis. The Sales intern will support our senior sales professionals by providing data-driven insights, conducting market research, and enhancing our client-facing materials to support our distribution efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with data manipulation, CRM maintenance (e.g., Salesforce), and performance analysis, gaining broad exposure to asset classes and investment professionals throughout the firm
- Work with the distribution team to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis, conduct market research, and assist in strategic planning to help advisors meet their investment objectives
- Work with internal tools and software (e.g. Walletshare, Morningstar, Dakota and RIA Database) to create efficiencies and automate reporting for the distribution team
- Learn about asset allocation strategies and identify investment capabilities across traditional and alternative strategies to support client investment objectives
- Assist in creating marketing materials, presentations, and pitch books for client meetings
- Support the sales team with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in investment management, finance, business, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Interest in financial markets, investment management, or financial services
Preferred Qualifications
- Dashboarding experience is a plus (e.g. Salesforce, Power BI)
- Prior finance-related experience in wealth management, financial analysis, sales support, or research, preferred
